Terms of Service

TipTop is a non-custodial software service that helps livestream creators display viewer-initiated cryptocurrency tips on their broadcast overlay. Tips flow directly from viewers to creators on public blockchains. TipTop never holds, transmits, or has access to your funds or private keys.

Creating a creator account requires signing in with Google and paying a one-time $4.20 USD activation fee (payable in BCH, BTC, LTC, or XMR at the current market rate). The activation fee is non-refundable and is paid directly to TipTop's operating wallet.

TipTop charges a flat 4.2% platform fee on every tip displayed. Fees accrue as an off-chain ledger entry against your account. You settle fees on your own schedule via the "Settle Fees" tab by sending a single transaction from your wallet to TipTop's fee wallet. TipTop never takes funds from incoming tips — the ledger is an invoice, not an intercept.

If your accrued fee balance goes unsettled past a grace window between streaming sessions, your public tip page is automatically paused until you settle. This is product-level enforcement only — no funds are frozen, held, or seized.

TipTop is not a custodian, exchange, broker, bank, or money transmitter. At no point does TipTop have possession of or signing authority over any user's cryptocurrency. All value transfers happen directly between users' own wallets on public chains. TipTop observes those transfers via public block explorers in order to display notifications.

• Provide accurate receiving addresses for each coin you enable.
• Back up and safeguard your own wallet(s). Lost keys cannot be recovered by TipTop.
• Settle platform fees owed in a reasonable timeframe.
• Comply with your local tax, gambling, and solicitation laws regarding tips received.

You may not use TipTop to solicit payment for illegal content, sanctioned-person transfers, or to evade any law applicable to you. TipTop reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or whose public behavior creates material risk to the service.

TipTop is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of block-explorer APIs, price feeds, Google OAuth, or our own infrastructure. We are not liable for missed tips, mis-addressed funds, expired payment intents, or any loss arising from public-chain volatility, fork events, or wallet-software bugs.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here and dated at the top of the page.
